I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice, specializing in treatment of common psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, life crises, transitions, adjustment and stress. I work with all ages, but over half my practice is with school-aged children. I also enjoy consultation and supervision, as well as conducting psychodiagnostic assessment with adults.

I have been in licensed full time practice in California for twenty one years and I am a Member of the Monterey Psychological Association and the California Psychological Association.

My approach to psychotherapy varies with the individual, but in general, I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach, tending towards insight-seeking. I assume that each person has their own inner wisdom about what they need and course his or her life must take, but muddled thinking, past traumatic experiences, and fear often cloud that truth. As a Therapist, my role is to be a change facilitator; to compassionately guide and advise my patients toward clearly defined goals.
